Requirement
Part load/unload of lathe. Storage capacity for rough and finished parts on individual pallet tables

Solution
Cantilever style gantry robot (linear gantry robot with additional perpendicular linear axis) for part load/unload on a single lathe. Individual hydraulically actuated grippers for rough and machined parts on a 4x90° rotary axis minimizes part exchange time. Pallets for part storage makes the system very flexible and reduces operator intervention.
Standard robot controller S4Cplus for gantry and peripherals guarantees highest reliability and minimal time for installation and commissioning.
