TASK
Ejector-side or nozzle-side removal of plastic parts from a 3000 t injection moulding machine.
SOLUTION
The CPP-5 cantilever portal offers a unique, large work area for applications such as palletizing and handling at die-casting and injection moulding machines. The large work area allows easy removal of the parts from the mould and subsequent loading onto pallets. The low height of the telescopic axis allows this application even in halls with very low clearance heights.
SCOPE OF SUPPLY
CPP-5 3-axis module comprising:
Vertical axis z: mechanical stroke length: 3000 mm; telescopic version
Ejection axis x: mechanical stroke length: 1950 mm
Transverse axis y: mechanical stroke length: 6000 mm
Options: manual lifting and securing brake; rotational axis B installed in the vertical axis
RESULT
Direct input to the injection moulding machine?s integrated control continuously adjusts the robot?s position. This assures optimal cycles, is easy on the mechanical systems and prevents expensive collisions between the gripper and the mould.
