Serving a broad range of industries, they also work with wood and foam and wanted the capability to mill these and other materials via an automated robotic system.
SOLUTION
KMT Robotic Solutions, Inc. (formerly Robotic Production Technology, Inc.) delivered a system incorporating a GÜDEL Trackmotion single axis robotic slide allowing for inverted mounting of an articulating arm robot to perform the operations required over a 4 meter work zone. Servo controlled turntable allows for increased throughput by separating part load/unload from part processing.
