TASK
In this application, concrete fibre plates are manufactured and processed for the building materials industry. Because of the extremely low ceiling height, it was sometimes necessary to use portals with telescopic axes.
Dimensions of the concrete fibre plates:
Length: approx. 2.50 m
Width: approx. 1.00 m
Weight: approx. 1.000 kg
The concrete plates are manufactured entirely in the manufacturing shop and transported to the individual processing stations via portals and roller conveyors.
SOLUTION
The required processing sequence was made possible by using special ZP-7HD two axis portals, some with telescopic axes because of the low ceiling height.

ZP-7HD two-axis modules (eight in total)
RESULT
The compact and robust heavy duty design of the portals fulfils the requirement perfectly. The telescoping solution made complex area portals unnecessary, which reduced the amount of space required, making it the optimum solution for the small area available.
