Task

Ejector-side or nozzle-side removal of plastic parts from a 3000 t injection moulding machine.

Solution

The CP-2 cantilever portal offers a unique, large work area for applications such as palletizing, handling at die-casting and injection moulding machines. The large work area allows easy removal of the parts from the mould and subsequent loading onto pallets.

CP-2 3-axis module comprising:
Vertical axis z: mechanical stroke length: 1300 mm; 1-stage version
Ejection axis x: mechanical stroke length: 600 mm
Transverse axis y: mechanical stroke length: 1,600 mm

Scope of supply: mechanical construction with gearbox

Result

Direct input to the injection moulding machines integrated control continuously adjusts the robot?s position. This assures optimal cycles, is easy on the mechanical systems and prevents expensive collisions between the gripper and the mould.
