Automation Gearbox Casing

Task

In a production line, 3 machining centers (Alfing) need to be linked. The unmachined part in- and outfeed needs to be incorporated as well as an embossing station.

Solution

The machining centers as well as push-loading drawers, removal belt and embossing station were linked to a roboFlex RF-4-125. The unmachined part infeed is done by a 4-fold push-loading drawer system (pneumatic). The robot allows for the inserting of the workpieces in two different clampings.

Scope of supply

roboFlex RF-4-125 with column, top vat, gripper, pneumat. push-loading drawer system, embossing station, removal belt, safety fence, control system, assembly and commissioning.

Result

The already available machining centers are linked in line. Suspended robot allows for the inserting of the unmachined parts in two different clampings. The system offers resources for 2 further machining centers. Only the beam needs to be extended.
