Automatic Loading of Crankshafts

Task

Up to now, heavy crankshafts (up to 250 kg) had to be manually loaded into machine tools. The manual loading time was very long. The task was to improve the loading process and to handle numerous different crankshafts.

Solution

Two linear guides each 100 m long with cross transfers and buffers. Our solution integrates the entire process from loading the blank all the way to the finished workpiece into a single line.

Scope of supply

Two ZP-6 modules with h-loader and C-axis.

Result

The customer is completely satisfied and has already ordered the next line.
